Lors de la 28ème édition des DICE Awards, Astro Bot a brillé en remportant cinq prix, dont celui tant convoité de Jeu de l’Année. Développé par Team Asobi, ce jeu de plateforme a marqué les esprits, surpassant d’autres titres tels que Black Myth: Wukong et Indiana Jones.
Qu’est-ce qui vient de se passer ? La 28e édition annuelle des DICE Awards vient de se dérouler, marquant une cérémonie mémorable pour Astro Bot. Le jeu a remporté le plus grand nombre de prix de la soirée, cinq, incluant le convoité Jeu de l’Année, qu’il avait également décroché lors des Game Awards de décembre dernier.
Développé par Team Asobi, ce jeu de plateforme a été une révélation pour l’éditeur Sony. Il a reçu de nombreuses nominations dans divers salons de jeux vidéo et a gagné de nombreux prix, y compris plusieurs catégories de Jeu de l’Année.
Lors de l’événement au Aria Resort & Casino, où Sony a révélé que son jeu s’est écoulé à 1,5 million d’unités, Astro Bot a battu Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Helldivers 2, et Indiana Jones and the Great Circle pour remporter le prix du Jeu de l’Année. En dehors du vainqueur, j’ai joué à tous les jeux de cette catégorie et je dois dire que Wukong aurait été mon choix. Le seul prix remporté par Black Myth lors de la cérémonie fut dans la catégorie Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction.
Astro Bot a remporté plus de catégories que tout autre jeu aux awards. En plus de GOTY, il a gagné Outstanding Achievement in Animation, Outstanding Technical Achievement, Family Game of the Year, et Outstanding Achievement in Game Design.
En termes de nombre total de victoires, Helldivers 2 arrive en seconde position avec quatre prix : Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition, Outstanding Achievement in Audio Design, Action Game of the Year, et Online Game of the Year.
Par ailleurs, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle a remporté le prix Outstanding Achievement in Character pour le Dr Jones lui-même. Le jeu de Bethesda Softworks a également remporté le prix Outstanding Achievement in Story et Adventure Game of the Year.
Le jeu de cartes Balatro a remporté trois catégories. Ce deck-builder roguelike a été couronné Strategy/Simulation Game of the Year, battant Satisfactory, ainsi que Mobile Game of the Year et Outstanding Achievement for an Independent Game.
